How it works

See DMC in action.

Real operations. Experienced people. One accountable team.
From warehousing and eCommerce fulfilment to print, insertion and postal lodgement, DMC brings each stage together within one managed operation.
In this short video, Brett takes you inside DMC to show how our people, systems and production workflows support both 3PL clients and high-volume mail campaigns—from receiving stock or campaign materials through to dispatch or lodgement.

What to look for:

  • Structured workflows across fulfilment and mail production
  • Experienced people managing critical stages
  • Integrated warehousing, pick and pack, print and insertion capability
  • Clear operational control from receipt through to dispatch or lodgement
Our Process

From setup to day-to-day operations.

Step 01.

Understand the requirement

We take the time to understand your business, products, volumes, systems, timing and operational requirements.

  • For eCommerce, we review your product profile, order volumes, integrations and fulfilment workflow.
  • For mail campaigns, we review your data, artwork, materials, quantities and lodgement requirements.

This gives both teams a clear scope, agreed responsibilities and a practical implementation plan before work begins.

Step 02.

Connect systems and receive stock

Your stock or campaign materials are received, checked and prepared for the agreed workflow.

  • Supported eCommerce integrations are configured and tested.
  • Goods and campaign materials are checked against the agreed documentation and specifications.
  • Stock and materials are recorded, organised and stored in designated locations.

Reporting, inventory visibility and operational requirements are agreed as part of the setup process.

Step 03.

Orders and campaign instructions enter the workflow

Once setup is complete, live orders or approved campaign instructions enter the agreed operational workflow.

For 3PL:
Customer orders flow into DMC’s fulfilment system and are released for processing according to the agreed order rules.

For bulk mail:
Approved data, artwork and production specifications move into the scheduled mail-production workflow.

Structured checks help confirm that each order or campaign is ready for the next operational stage.

Step 04.

Fulfilment or mail production

Orders and campaign materials move into physical production through the agreed workflow.

  • For eCommerce: stock is picked, checked, packed, labelled and prepared for carrier collection.
  • For bulk mail: materials are printed, personalised, folded, inserted, wrapped and addressed as required.
  • Quality checks are completed at critical production stages.

Packaging, presentation and processing requirements are managed according to the agreed specifications.

Step 05.

Dispatch or postal lodgement

Completed orders and mail campaigns are prepared for handover through the appropriate carrier or postal service.

  • eCommerce orders are staged and transferred to the agreed delivery provider.
  • Bulk mail is sorted, documented and lodged through the selected postal or distribution service.
  • Service options are reviewed against destination, format, timing and campaign requirements.

DMC manages preparation and handover; final delivery timeframes remain subject to the carrier network.

Step 06.

Visibility, reporting and support

Operational visibility continues once fulfilment or campaign production is underway.

  • Reporting across inventory, orders, fulfilment activity and campaign status
  • Reconciliation and exception reporting where agreed
  • Ongoing support from an experienced account and customer-service team

The reporting format, frequency and support arrangements are agreed during onboarding.

Yes. DMC can manage ongoing eCommerce fulfilment alongside bulk mail and campaign activity through coordinated but separate operational workflows. This is useful for businesses that require both product distribution and customer communications.

Tell us as early as possible about promotions, seasonal peaks, new products, campaign activity or changes to your requirements. We’ll review the impact on capacity, staffing, stock, systems and production timing, then agree any workflow or resource changes required.
